Rainbow Six:Vegas 2

I want to get it for PC, but after buying the last one I am really put off.

It was such a bad console port I ended up taking it back and getting it for the 360!
 
Got the first one on pc and xbox360, probably get it for pc again. As long as the mp community is bigger than it was on the pc version i wont have to buy it on xbox360.
 
I left the PC version the day after release, so did the RSV PC version get the free content like the Xbox?

I am sick of getting stiffed as a PC user, I also bought GRAW2 for PC and it is so crap yet the 360 version was great and has received loads of decent content.
 
The first one is my favourite 360 shooter and I don't normally like shooters on a console. I think I may sit this one out until I hear some feedback on the PC version which I would prefer if it were to be ported properly. It would also be cheaper so here is praying that they get it right this time.
 
PC version ***. I couldnt see what all the fuss was about over the first one. I got a little bit of slowdown in some parts where there were lots of enemies and smoke about, but on the whole i found it to be perfectly playable. I finished it before they brought out the first patch so my version obviously didnt need patching. being able to actually hit what you are shooting at is a big bonus when you are playing FPS games, which is why I`ll be getting this on PC.

Yeah they released both Black and Red map packs for the PC version in the end.

Im picking this one up for the PC too, i really enjoyed the last one (even on my 7600GT), and this one should be more optimized for the PC this time around (apparently theyve got proper devs working on each version throughout development, no porting). Cant wait :).
 
I had to play the buggy console port 1st Vegas with no patches as it was day 1.

I enjoyed it aside from the issues without patches, but its patched up now and I hope they learned from the 1st one.
 
I had no issues with the first one at all and after completing it went searching for a sequel only to find loads of people complaining about how bad it was. I loved it especially having a team with you to help.

Will definitely be buying the next one
 
Can anyone who gets this on PC tell me how it runs? The first one was extremely poor and buggy. Not just the frame rate, but there were a lot of missing sounds and the visuals didn't match the 360 version.
