The original ran great for me but after having first played the 360 version i couldnt get used to playing it with mouse and keys, always felt odd, same thing with Gears Of War.
Probably very true. I don't understand, GRAW2 on PC wasn't too bad - it was different from the console version in that it actually had a decent tactical element to it. Why they couldn't have done the same for R6, I don't know. They've destroyed the franchise, as far as I'm concerned - the console versions should stay on the consoles.

I wish there was still a big community / lots of players for this game. Still the best online tactical shooter imo
I originally tryed playing the first one on my Athlon 5000 X2 + 7600GS.. Ran like rubbish but i put it down to the graphics card and moved on.
Found it cowering in a corner the otherday and thought i'de boot it up on my Q6600 + 8800GT.. And er.. felt the same! :S
Certainly won't be rushing to get this one. If it's having framerate issues with consoles i dread to think what they've messed up with the PC version.

First one ran like turd for me, upgraded since then so I'm hoping this won't be a console port.

Prob is, but I hope thats why its late now as of coding being optimised for PC (April)
This time round Ubisoft have set aside a proper PC team to sort it out, lets just hope all these stuttering issues the ps3 and 360 people have got will not appear on the pc...
I very much dout they had it in stock, it isn't out til the 18th April (yes I know shops get it ealier, but 23 days is a lot earlier lol)

So true - RVS was last R6 worth playing IMO, I was a huge R6 fan & played countless hours.
But ever since LetDown it's just gone from bad to worse. And you can keep hoping V2 will be better than V1, at best it will be the same (but shorter).
Not getting this game ever, much better things out there. Just wish COD had co-op. Mods please

Good enjoyable game, same 2 year old engine but no bugs or crashes like unpatched Vegas 1.
New addition of Cover/blind fire etc good, few new guns but tend to keep default gun as its good.
Still dumb where you go to a room with 3 doors (at say NORTH/EAST/WEST layout) and cant get the 2 peeps to go to a door each. so all 3 doors are covered.

Them screens don't look appealing to me one bit. The R6 series died after raven shield imo.

Can I ask what hardware your running it on, and what's the framerate like?
Also, in your second screenshot it has an option to login, how come you didn't take advantage of it? (actually don't answer that one
