Had my friendly photo guy that does all my motors down on saturday afternoon, after 20 hours of me detailing it.Washed, Clayed, washed, dried off and left overnight , left then 12 hours of polishing with cartec compound and finish on megs g220 with hexlogic pads, 2 coats of 5050 wax, all black bits done, wheels brightened and sealed, hoovered and berry blast for freshness

anyway enough of my speel,onto the motor

Looks great, need some whiter bulbs though imo! Also, is your undertray hanging loose a bit? (pic 3)

Nop thats exactly the shape of the undertray

its fully fixed in place and is the same on both sides.

As for bulbs, there not actually yellow in real life, there just tired looking bulbs. I am trying to find a set of just normal high quality bulbs. But i dont want any blue or pure white look as the car didnt come from that time when HID type bulbs were everywhere

Spent a hour with another new numberplate getting it to stick. Removed the old one, cleaned the area of all the old pads, got it nicely de-greased and then got the new one on.

Not a fan of the E36 shape, and I think it's image has suffered at the hands of the sort of people who buy them nowadays.

But that is a stunning example and looks absolutely pristine. Very nice

yeh the number plate is on with the usual pads. I had to really put some effort into cleaning the area behind the plate to ensure the pads took well. But there going no where now
