I'm actually pretty sceptical. If I'm not mistaken the card they kept calling the 'fastest in the world' was actually the dual GPU Fiji inside that weird little cube PC on the stage. So, logically a single Fury X is not faster than a Titan X? Or am I just crazy?

No you are not. There's definitely a reason for the $649 price. Great card nonetheless (if it lives up to the hype)!

So other than a lot of random numbers and there names and prices they told us jack ****?

Other than the nano = 290x and a fury = 1 and a half 290x's?

Not sure why all back slaping going on?

Indeed, as far as I can tell through all the hot air is there is a 980 competitor and a 980TI competitor, as expected. Nothing that looks to beat the Titan X, as predicted.
And the 4GB rumours were true.

The price is somewhat telling. AMD is going for the value for money approach again.

Was the date June 24th for the water cooled and July for the air cooled?

I don't have any special PC set up and have never had anything water cooled.

Will there be any disadvantages to getting the FuryX water cooled version and will it be ok in a regular case?

I'm running without any card at the moment so need the one released earliest.
