I have been offered two (yes thats right two) Titan Z's for a touch shy of £800.
An online retailer has got a small amout of these for £1200 each so to get 2 for nearly £800 is too good an opportunity to miss ? I think they went for about £2000 when released.

I've done some checking on the benchmarks and they trade blows with a 295x2 so two would absolutely stonk all over it. I was thinking of getting a 295x2 at one point but if I get these I still get gsync with my monitor. I could even sell one of them and still be good for 4k gaming.

Just wondering whether to take a punt return the 970 SLI and then make up the difference.

i would not be thinking about it, the 970's would be history, worse thing that can happen is sell one titan z and keep one for a free upgrade

I wouldn't have even thought about it, £400 a pop for a titan z is a steal, you'd be lucky to pay less then that for a single titan on the bay

Well now that's messed up. Went to Amazon from this page and the front page was a load of Titan Zs.

Damn you Amazon and Internet cookies.

Thats strange I just did the same and got

Dog Clothing & Accessories Eligible for Free Delivery*

Looking at this again I suspect I am 4th in line so its probably looking very doubtful. Shame as they are advertised as brand new too.

At least shows how good two for £800 is.

Yup, top buyer pulled out. I've said yes just waiting for a response. Its going through PP so transaction will be covered.

Sorry, as you just pointed out..:D

I am the bidder at £952, i have also had e-mails from him, but i am still below other bidders, so tough luck maybe.

I thought so. Never mind I haven't lost anything.
Slight doubt in my mind as to why he would have two brand new ones and be wanting to get shut even at sub £800.

I have my doubts alltogether, really.

He sold another Titan Z today at auction..

But I will post here if he returns with a final answer.

Of course. Even one for £800 would be pretty good.

Compared to full price sure, but still poor value as they're significantly slower than the 295x2 so paying a huge premium for a slower product.

2 for 800 though... if legit, working ones... well, that's into the realms of the tempting!
