Do to let the gfx put you off the gameplay is a lot of fun & for the price you will get a lot of value for money. The actual game is a tower defence set in WW1 where you can jump in vehicles/planes/turrets & use all the nasty weapons of the era like mustard gas  etc etc shoot down zeppelins/troops in the trenches/tanks etc etc

Its set in a table top toybox so the gfx are a little stylised & look like childrens toys from the era but the gameplay is fun & easy to get into for the price its a good buy (no2 Steam bestseller right now will be no1 soon I expect).

360 gamepad or mouse+keyboard support. Only downside is they released it without widescreen support  & are patching but right now it only supports the following resolutions so you can run it in a window for now or stretch to fit or have black borders. Gfx options are minimal anyway its all about the gameplay & mowing down unlimited waves of troops/planes/tanks ;) with extreme prejudice:eek: :

800x600
1024x768
1280x1024
1680x1050

Not sure how that got through as its MS Game Studios publishing  so obviously it also uses GFWL but has no MP anyway & already includes the 2 DLC packs from the 360 version for free. This game is another Windows 8 App store launch game but out now (arrived late yesterday with no PR whatsoever just appeared on Steam @ 6PM).

mmm bought the game and I can't create a Live account for the life of me...

There was an error creating the Windows Live ID, please try again later.

well that ended my fun before it started.!

Groan it gets worse...

What shouldn't have happened is me buying the game. I now remember why I do not like GFWL.

Phew managed to finally get the GFWL up and going and now can play the game. As my 16:10 monitor is 1680x1050 all is well there.

The game is quite fun and, so it seems, to be well worth the money.
