Or if you use the search function for " Battlefield 3" or "BF3" then anyone of the 100 or so threads that have been started so far.

Pings dont seem to show up at all in IE8 for me, might try firefox now you mentioned it

Pings showing fine on Chrome.

Thanks for tip earlier about filtering by the word practice, got about 2 hours flying a jet, unlocked missiles and kind of know what i'm doing now

skill got to learn choppers.

Finding it hard to enjoy the game tonight. Bf3.exe crashes on every map change. This game is incredibly unstable.

What do you use to control the jet mate controller? Im thinking of maybe just plugging my xbox controller in and just using it when im in either a heli or jet as going by what people are saying its a lot easier to control. Gonna jump on some of those practice servers to i think having never actually flown anything yet

Are you sure it's not the server? I play on a couple of severs and have about one crash in 4-5 hours, and then it's because the server screwed the pooch. Everyone just joins again though and it helps mix the teams up a little bit.

Interesting one this.

Just right clicked on the BF3 icon in Origin and checked for updates....zippo. I then choose install repair. It got to 100%, and then installed a 48 meg update patch! :confused:

The 48mb is just standard for the repair, it doesn't update anything. No idea what it does but you'll get it every time you do the repair.

Hopefully it will give me the edge in the air (esp in the jets).

Joining a different server each time.

Really, who thought up all this Battlelog crap? To play the game, I have to start Origin. Then launch the "game" which actually just a web based server browser. Then, I click my server which loads the game.

So each time I want to change servers, I have to shut the whole game engine down. Which I hate doing, because half the time, it will crash when starting up again!

Surely its better to just leave the game engine running and use an in game browser.
