Hidden away in a secluded sanctuary, the corrupted Dragon Aspect Deathwing has waited, recovering from the wounds of his last battle against Azeroth and biding his time until he can reforge the world in molten fire.

Soon, Deathwing the Destroyer will return to Azeroth, and his eruption from Deepholm will sunder the world, leaving a festering wound across the continents. As the Horde and Alliance race to the epicenter of the cataclysm, the kingdoms of Azeroth will witness seismic shifts in power, the kindling of a war of the elements, and the emergence of unlikely heroes who will rise up to protect their scarred and broken world from utter devastation.

- Adventure as one of two new races - the cursed worgen with the Alliance or the resourceful goblins with the Horde.
- Level Cap Increased to 85. Earn new abilities, tap into new talents, and progress through the path system, a new way for players to improve characters.
- Familiar zones across the original continents of Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms have been altered forever and updated with new content, from the devastated Badlands to the broken Barrens, which has been sundered in two.
- Explore newly opened parts of the world, including Uldum, Grim Batol, and the great Sunken City of Vashj'ir beneath the sea.
- Enjoy more high-level raid content than previous expansions, with optional more challenging versions of all encounters.
- Explore Azeroth as a gnome priest, blood elf warrior, or one of the other never-before-available race and class combinations.
- Progress as a guild to earn guild levels and guild achievements.
- Take on PvP objectives and daily quests on Tol Barad Island, a new Wintergrasp-like zone, and wage war in all-new rated Battlegrounds.
- Archaeology. Master a new secondary profession to unearth valuable artifacts and earn unique rewards.
- Flying Mounts in Azeroth. Explore Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms like never before.
And much, much more...

Whats the crack about dispatch etc guys?

I am very wary of mail order delivery on stuff like this, a few friends have been rightly stitched up and its taken a few days past launch date to get the delivery from online places.

Its wierd, continental europe players seem to be able to order and receive before launch, (both TBC and WOLK). So when are you expecting actual delivery and actual dispatch dates to be?

You will get my order if I know it will be at my home the day before launch basically.

Unfortunately I cannot guarantee delivery for Monday , the stock will be with me Monday so If you are local there will be no problem you collecting.

Who is promising delivery for Monday ?

I would be interested to know.

We will be receiving the stock on Saturday at the latest Monday.

Hi Rob,

sorry my message was maybe unclear.
My fellow guildies in europe are getting promised monday delivery dates.
In the UK no one I know of, its almost like europe get their shipments to distributors a few days earlier than UK.
Suffolk is a long way from Staffs so collect is a no go :( which is a shame would have liked to support you guys on software.

Both in TBC and WOLK I have known primarily euro players playin the new version before official release day, yet very very few UK players, so I suspect its timing of the deliveries to suppliers as I mention above.

Just couldn't risk royal fail not delivering on the tues if its being dispatched on the Monday.

There should be no reason why this product cannot be shipped before the release date because Blizzard doesn't enable it on the servers until 12:01am on the 7th of December anyway - so there can be no using it early.

Granted but if the copies arent getting to OC until the Monday, they can't be shipped to you by Monday aswell ;)

All that's really needed is the product key isn't it? The box and discs are nice and all but not needed for launch day, just the procude key to add to your battle.net account afaik

Aye Moley, although rumor was the electronic download was being enabled at that point in time.
Certainly in TBC and WOLK I know people who were playing the expansion before it was supposed to be enabled. I suspect Blizz rely more on holding shipments rather than actually changing the servers, although they may have learn't from past expansions and be comitted to not allowing early starts

There must be some new stuff on the discs else you would just be able to buy the code/activate online. You can do online but you still need to do a download it appears.

I want my copy so I can play at midnight when the servers go live. Hell I have even booked a week off work.

Can you DSR the game if it doesn't arrived the day before the server launches? Cos I will buy it from a high street store near to me which has confirmed to be open for 24hours (over night so they can sell @ midnight)

Looks like you're price matching the big boys, more of that stuff please (/points to Black Ops on PC) :p

Isn't £24.99 the RRP?

Theres even a palce charging over the RRP on both the standard and CE lol

TBF the rrp is £29.99 however you can get this cheaper with free P&P AND

They guarantee that you will receive it by the release date of Tuesday 7th of December 2010, if you do not receive it we will compensate you.

Nice try but not cookie for rob this time :p

I'll probably buy it from Battle.Net, the pre-download and midnight activation is what I'm after.

Unless its like £39.99, then OCUK :>

I reckon it will be £39.99 or very close,im with you i would rather download but im betting the prices on battle.net with be silly compared to buying it retail
