This is my baby, the most loyal friend anyone could have :)

Very nice gsp, used to have two of theese. One was predominately white with liver spots and head, apparently not very common. They are fantastic companions and very gentle natured. Mine were working gundogs, never seen a breed that can cover so much ground on a hunting trip.

Thanks setter, she is 12 this year and still thinks she's a pup. Recently had a cruciate ligament operation so she has to be careful for a few months. Needless to say I absolutely adore her.

I know a lot of people won't like me saying this but Sibes really arent pets, they are working dogs and have only really be "pets" for the last few years, they are bred to run and work and as such (like collies) need to be kept in a manner which suits that, this is from my experience of ones I've met through friend etc.

But if you have time for them, 3+ hrs of running which may be on the lead constantly, they are beautiful dogs :)

KaHn

to be honest...It depends how they are brought up...Yes, they are almost instinctively working dogs, but if you bring it up to be a pet, it will be a pet...That and the fact they are a clever means they 'can' learn quickly and well if taught in the proper manner.

Problem is they can be so full on, people give up on them...Which is why there are so many in re-homes...But you can understand why they do this, because half the time they aren't properly informed about the breed

don't get me wrong...Huskies are great workers, and great pets...Generally great dogs...Along with loads of other breeds :p

Ziva is a 9 weeks old today black bitch lab whos dam cute. I got the name Ziva from NCIS. 1st lot of jabs on friday so i'm going to be hated. Im working from home now and then but she comes into work with me. Shes a total babe magnet. I got her on sunday, had no accidents in the car on the way home. Had 2 wees on the floor and 1 in here cage. I've only had to get up once when shes gone to bed as she wanted a wee, bless she lets me know already. Already mastered paw, beg (jump up gently with both paws in the air), speak (thinks she can do it all the time), fetch, always uses the lawn for the loo, kiss, sit and laydown. She follows me everywhere when shes not sleeping which she does no end of. It's almost like an invisable lead we got.

Anyway here she it...

Also of her well away sleeping

So we have ANOTHER addition to our animal family, our house is basically becoming a zoo! but we love our pets :D

Say hello to Narla, I was told she's a pure lab but we were confused by odd colouring on her coat near her rear leg, after a trip to the vet for her jabs he told us that labs can have odd silvery dashes on their fur, I've never seen this before but he tells me her colouring is called Hailstorm Chocolate. We're in love with her anyhow!
