My Mini MAME arcade cabinet build.

Howdy.

Now I have completed the little Gameboy Advance SP cabinets, time to up scale a bit.

So I have started on a desktop sized unit that will run arcade emulators, mame et al.

basic start today. Designed and started cutting the enclosure. Sourced a 8" 4:3 LCD monitor and started to fix it together.

This will be a longer build than the little GBA ones, because of parts etc.

I just wish I managed to get a raspberry Pi today to power it :-(

How come the sides are jigsawed together, is it because you're limited to the size of stock you can laser cut?

Yeah, it only has a bed size of 160x240mm

Very much tempted to do something similar myself. With the raspberry Pi. Are you going to wait for one or do you have something else in mind to power it?.
