May also explain why AMD have been so coy on pricing. If the 780 Ti comes in at £550 and is outperforming the 290X then in no way would AMD be able to charge that.
 
He said it's their best GPU yet. I'd imagine it will be a few percent above titan and created specifically to target the 290x.

He said they'll be sending them to reviewers very soon.

nope, I've had the benefit of "future tech" for a good few months and gaming on 7680x1440, I always knew it was costing me a pretty penny to get that in advance of what may come later

I'll be "downscaling" to 4K and getting an oculus rift, so what I have now will last me a good long while to come as well

I'm happy that nvidia have come out fighting in light of all AMD's recent good press, I'd rather have g-sync than mantle
