Hi Guys,

So I have just done a new build over the weekend, where I put in a second 680 into my Loop. I am using EK blocks with bridges.

I turned on the the system and at first noticed that I am only seeing one card. I uninstalled my Nvidia drivers and reinstalled and now I see both cards in device manager but I get error code 43 with the yellow exclamation mark.

Now I have been very careful, and there is absolutely no reason for the card to have gotten damaged during the install. and the card that is not working is the card I had been using before the rebuild so I know for a fact it was working without any problems (on water as well)

It would like to exhaust all options before I strip and drain my system!

Here is a list of my components:

Asus Rampage IV Gene
Intel i7 3930k
GeIL EVO Corsa 8GB (4x2GB) DDR3 PC3-17000C10 2133MHz
2x EVGA 680GTX SOC

Thanks.

Having never ran a duel card setup before, I guess I'm at a bit of a disadvantage. But is it possible to pop the working card out of the motherboard slot (but still leave it in the loop) and pull out the power connectors and still boot the system? That way you'd be able to tell if the none working card suddenly starts working.
I obviously don't know how much 'wiggle' room you have with the tubing etc, but if you can try the cards individually without disturbing the watercooling loop, I'd try that first of all. Failing that, is there options in the Bios to enable SLI etc, actually I think there's a menu in there somewhere that shows what's plugged into memory and PCI-express slots so worth checking that first of all....

Do a clean gpu driver uninstall with DDU. Once done, boot up and install the new gpu drivers. I'm pretty sure the RIVgene allows you to disable pci-e slots either with hard switch or via bios. Disable each pci-e slot in turn and connect display to the "live" card and test each individually. Once confirmed both working, enable both pci-e slots and sli. I'm assuming you haven't forgotten your sli bridge.
