21:9 youtube support (I made an extension!!!!)

Hi guys, I'm a noob to the forums, so I apologize if i'm doing it wrong. I tried looking for a solution for this problem but instead decided to fix it myself.

If you have a 21:9 (UltraWide) monitor, this chrome extension that I made will allow proper scaling in full screen mode. Any creative feedback you may have would be appreciated, cheers!

Just need to find something to fix WWE Network full screen at 21:9...

As much as I like having videos in 21:9 format, I can't be doing with the top and bottom chopped off in normal 4:3 or 16:9 content. I'm out!

Dont Chrome and opera use the same type of plugin? i use something called youtube center and its the same file for both Chrome and Opera.. perhaps you could download this extension and make it work?

Toggle with Ctrl+Alt+f

As of now it supports Youtube and Netflix, with the ability to toggle it with a tick box and hotkeys.

Thanks for the mad support guys! On the 23rd of March UltraWide Video got 97 installs in one day. I Googled it and lo and behold my OCUK post from 22nd of December actually got some comments.

If anyone wants more features, please leave a comment and please review.

First i want to say thank you. With that said, last i used the extension it cut the bottom and top off the youtube movies. Would love some options for how it handles that sort of thing if its possible.. Havent used it since due to that, but now that i see it also supports netflix im giving it a go again cause the idea is awwsome.. Best of luck to your development.

EDIT: Seems to work like a charm for netflix.. Thanks a million, netflix aspect ratio has been p*ssing me off for month now. Thank god i dont have to look at a cropped picture anymore.. Cheers bud

Support for opera as well please you would be a life saver i hate cropped lol
