Hey all.

I have hit an impasse in my build as I have an intel 750 series installed as my intended boot drive but boot it will not!

I have updated my BIOS on the X99 to latest version, I installed the intel driver during the install process but once windows completes the first reboot, after its finished setting stuff up, the machine will not boot past the BIOS splashscreen.
I have read the intel article where it goes through a model setup for the ASUS x99 deluxe platform, all my UEFI settings are, as far as I can see, correct as per the intel paper but...its not playing ball.

Anyone got a similar experience they have overcome? any suggestions at all?

Full parts list is over at my build log thread:

I have removed all the installation media, booted again and the machine has now hung at the "preparing automatic repair" so it can obviously see the drive and see the windows boot manager to know it's had a failed boot, but it will not progress past this point!

Very annoying, probably something stupid but ...

Couple of quick notes:

The installation was from properly configured ( I think ) UEFI USB media, certainly flagged as UEFI media

The BIOS update was prior to the installation

At install time the CSM was set to UEFI driver first for the PCIE boot line

I have cycled it again and it has returned to automatic repair, where it just sits doing nothing.

Short update.. Seems to be a peripheral issue. Maybe using both network ports or maybe my switchbox. I also have a CH flight set, stick, rudder, throttle so... Will check with nothing plugged in its fine

I have an Intel 750 as the boot drive. Windows 10 installed fine using a UEFI USB drive. I think I had problem at first and installed it using none UEFI Windows 8.1 but it was some time ago now so cannot remember.
