At Overclockers UK, we are always striving to be the best. This thread is for you to help us, which then helps you! :)

We are making great effort to provide the best information we can to allow for a purchase that is right for you. With thousands of products on our website, unfortunately mistakes can happen so this is where you, the community can help.

This thread is for everyone to collaborate and report anything relating to any typos/mistakes on our website.

Currently, any errors spotted are being created in a new thread in different sub-forums, so I wanted all reports to go here. That way, I am subscribed to this thread so I will get the mistakes as they happen and correct them as soon as possible! - Because at the moment I just come across threads, which means I can miss mistakes, or it can take me a while to notice them.

So post here any typos/mistakes you see on our website, and we will do our best to correct them as soon as possible!

Thank you. :)

***EDIT***

Please report any bugs or mistakes here:

I will make this a sticky later, just want it to bounce around GH for now, so people see it. :)

I will keep it in this section, as this is where most people tend to report any website mistakes. Also, I want it all contained in this one thread so it is easier for me. :)

Okay great. Let's keep 5UB busy. :D

A couple of EVGA PSU's do not appear in the list produced by searching for "Components > Power Supplies > 451w to 650w".

This one does show up:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-001-EA&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=2463

These don't:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-008-EA

And one EVGA PSU doesn't appear in the list produced by searching "Components > Power Supplies > 651w to 850w".

This one does:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-002-EA&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=2466

This one doesn't:

not exactly a mistake but you should add "wired" to the xbox 360 wired controller like pretty much every other website does.
Microsoft Xbox 360 Controller - PC / Xbox 360 (52A-00005) I suggest changing it to "Microsoft Xbox 360 wired Controller - PC / Xbox 360 (52A-00005)"
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GC-000-MS

If you search for "xbox 360 wired controller" on the ocuk search feature nothing comes up which may lead some people into believing ocuk does not stock them
It also appears because of how ocuk have labelled it you don't appear on googles shopping results for the wired controller

Mmmm this thread may have been a bad idea. :D

Only kidding, all this is great. Cannot promise changes straight away, but it is a list to work on. :)

Thread needs stickying and moving to a more suited forum ;)

I'll go on the hunt. For some bits.

May I ask why it takes a while for it to be updated, I mean is it more theres not a dedicated person to do the job?

We have people who upload the products and descriptions, but with the thousands of products we upload some things can be missed. - Things may take time to be changed because of being busy, access to the website, and authorisation and agreement. Not everyone has access to changing the website, which is probably a good thing. :)

But of course, sorry I'm just nosy! :p
