Installed on my Nexus 5, very impressed with how fast it is. Super slick even while downloading and installing a ton of apps in background.

Was going to try a over the top install but read its just FC'ing so will just do a clean install after I finish my nandroid backup.

Lets hope device encryption doesn't suck.

Is it easy to directly flash onto? No rooting etc needed?

Just download the factory image and use the flashall.bat ... just remember to remove the -w switch from the line below if you dont want it to be wiped during the process

It'll be months for other devices, most try and say 3 months but its always later and some will never get the update, depends on manufacture of that device.

It has Doze and the fixed mobile network keeping awake so standby battery life should be considerably better.

The download for the SDK now M is out is quite big, couple of gigs
