He can thank Ender for that spec

I'd return the mobo for a PCI-Express one (not AGP). Asrock 939Dual-SATA2 (MB-002-AK) maybe?

Nice builds guys but if he's getting a new AMD setup would it be better for him to go AM2 so he can get a little extra life out of his PC?

Eh 939 has similar performance and the memory is a bit cheaper. AMD has said that 939 will stick around for at least a bit longer.

I know this mate but he'll still be able to get new AM2 chips in the future when 939 chips become only Teabay able and if he went AM2 now he won't have to get a whole new mobo and DDR2 later on. I just thought AM2 would save more money in he long run.

Can I mention the famous aution site I know some folk action off PC parts so I don't know if I can type the name here.

Definitely not unless you fancy bold yellow text. ;)

AM2 would be a smart move, I agree. However, if he's desperate for a machine now and not in a few weeks, then skt939 isn't a horrid choice. It's not like he's spec'd a sktA board or something.

You should go AM2, really.
