For the record WoW is a REALLY low resource game.

A 3200 Venice with a X800 and 1gig will run pretty well, 2gig of ram and it'll be fine. The Venice won't even be slightly stretched ( my 3800+ only hits 50% processor at really intensive places like IF on a busy day - 50% processor = 100% processor on a 3200 Venice ).

Nice builds guys but if he's getting a new AMD setup would it be better for him to go AM2 so he can get a little extra life out of his PC?

I think you've missed the point. He has already bought the rig spec'd in post 3 by Ender. The problem is, it's an AGP motherboard with a PCI-E graphics card that will not fit into the slot, hence post 11 which resurrected this thread. Nothing to do with AM2
