hi all, i jest had two new 7900gtx and this is what i get in all my games

my temps are idle 38c and full load 55c

It means RMA if a change of drivers does not sort it. Might want to do a fresh install as well to make sure.

using the 84.21, and its a fresh install, is there something wrong with the 7900gt/gtx or am i the only one, thanks for your help.

mate the card is borked. there is a problem with most of the 7900 cards if not all of them. they die quite easily.

Try newer drivers (there are some "non-official" ones around, think it was 91.xx). Make sure you remove the existing ones properly first.

yes, the 7900/7950 series does seem to suffer early deaths and problems ...

Yes mate and they both do the same, and when they are in Sli i get BSOD all the time

im guessing this comment was sarcastic, seeing as lots of 7900 series cards are dying early deaths (especially the pre-overclocked ones)

Reading the past posts, some brands seem to suffer more than others. Not sure if it's because some manufacturers are more popular than others, and therefore sold more cards but XFX and Oc's own seem to be the main culprits. Asus, Leadtek & Gainward seem to be more resiliant if the posting on these boards is anything to go by.

Blimey ive seen hundreds as its a problem with the voltage regulators on the 7900's or summit, least Nvidia came clean about it i suppose, and are fixing it for the next lot.

I'd like to see this "nvidia coming clean" thing. A press release, anything.

If they've admitted a manufacturing defect, I'll have a new card thank you very much.
