Update Conroe launch date

Hmm, does this mean that retailers will actually be able to sell them on this date or is it just when the NDA for reviews ends? I'm thinking its just the reviews at the moment.
 
TBH it says NDA is lifted in little over a week , not when they are on sale

It may amount to the same thing, but thats not actually what it says.

Release day may still be 23rd / 27th

Has anyone seen these 2-3 second adverts on the TV at the moment, with no brand name ? One was just on which was a couple of chaps putting up a Billboard poster. The date 23.07.2006 flashed on the screen. I reckon these are Intel adverts for Conroe. I'm sure Intel did these types of adverts a couple of yeas ago.


Keep your eyes open for them, theyre mainly on Channel 4, particulary around Big Brother time...

Just because an NDA is lifted, this bares no relation (IN GENERAL) to whether something can go on sale

All its saying is that it can be reviewed properly in every possible way and the review released, nothing else.

No it doesnt.

NDA just means it cant be officially reviewed.

I am not saying the NDA and release date cant be the same - they may be in this case but its not automatic and the article doesnt say they are the same either
