I'm not sure about you guys, but the window on my Lanboy scratched really easily. So i went about replacing it. I decided to use mesh aluminium this time though.

Nice one dude. bet that helps with air flow and case temps currently!!!

Like the fact you have used

Metal fixings on the mesh
Trim for the fan
Alloy fan
The fan block thing (forgoten name) is perfect

Only thing is the white nylon plasticc 2 bit holding it on

They are the standard case ones
Clear fan
Standard fan guard (which I suggested ;))
They are rubber mounts to lower vibration and noise

I'll stop answering for Benjo now :D

I cant really compare the noise levels at the moment, had to RMA my arctic freezer :( But the noise is a bit louder yeh. Temps on the NB have dropped about 5c, and the graphics by about 3c. But my graphics card isnt in the line of airflow, but when i get my pci-e card it will be :) CPU is around the same temps as it was with the arctic :)

Looks very nice. Out of interest how much was the mesh you used?
Has anyone ever seen that honeycomb style mesh in the UK?

Nice work, might have to try something similar

The hole lot cost me £28

£16 for a 500x500mm mesh panel, £9 accousti fan, then the extras like the rubber screws, rubber edging and fan grill

The only thing i'm annoyed at though, is the definate line going across the center in the mesh. It isnt bent or anything, so i dont know what it is  Most of you probably wouldnt have noticed if i didnt point that out :p
