Cheapest - Asrock (gets the job done)

Value - Gigabyte DS3 (good overclocker)

Personal -Gigabyte DS4 (features)

The DS3 is proven a good clocker and well worth it if you plan to overclock.

DS3 for budget. Asus P5B-D as easily the best board for E6300/E6400 overclocking... PERIOD !

get the ds3 if i were you, can overclock that cpu to 2.6 easily/2.8

3.0gig easy now bios updated...just ramp up the fsb to 430

So far I've overclocked my Gigabyte DS3 to 2.8 Ghz, and I can recommend it.

latest bios works the best for me, the 706 i think.

allows my team sticks to go upto 550 thats with nb / sb all at auto (defaults)

its not clocking too bad to be honest... have seen better... but its more stable now with F5 bios

Better cooling on the DS4 using heatpipes
2 x PCI Express X16 slot(run @ x16, x4) on the DS4 where as DS3 has only one x16 PCIE slot

As regarding o/c they are both good it all matters down to the price, the ds3 with its excellent price budget clocks very very well
If you want features(like crossfire) + o/c go for the ds4 and if you just want to o/c with a budget go for the ds3
