decided to jump on the intel road starting with a nice conroe rig.

500max including postage. best performace and compatability please.

also how much different is Intel clocking and AMD clocking? (always had amd)

that board isnt any good to me im afraid. i'd need 2x 16x PCI-E slots.

im sorry i should have said this at the start, i also need 5+ sata ports.

ive heard the ds4 is a good board but has compatability problems with memory as it needs to be 1.8V to boot?

are you going to guarantee that that system would work? if so i'll get that but with a e6400 and 6400 ram. would that be compatible?

okay, so.. ive heard that the ds4 will only boot with memory at 1.8v (untill you change it) but without memory at 1.8v how can you change it?

is there much difference between the corsair specified above to the G.Skill HZ 6400 cas 4?

The HZ is better than the corsair RAM... and I have the HZ in a DS4 with no problem didnt have to change a thing the HZ works fine in the DS4... no changes needed in either the corsair or HZ..
