Or if you dont mind spending a little cash, get yourself the RGB scart cable for the cube and then an RGB Scart to VGA converter box, results from this setup can be very impressive.

It's possible to get a capture card with component in as well, but playing a console through a pc usually results in lag, you get the advantage of upscaling and postprocessing though when running through a pc.

You will either need a VGA box, or a TV card to take the Cube's composite input.

Have to disagree with that, I've had my cube hooked up to both a 42" Plasma and a 19 LCD monitor via VGA from an RGB Scart source and the picture looks fantastic (Not HD standards but flippin good none the less).Energize said:The only way to get decent quality video on the monitor is through component progressive scan to vga, not sure how many gamecube games support progressive scan though.
