Abit Fatal1ty FP-IN9 SLI NF650i SLi, S775, PCI-E, DDR2 533/667/800, SATA II, SATA RAID, ATX

Anyone know anything about this board?

supposed to be out at the end of this month.
I've seen 1 site with a price of ~€115 which would put it in the £75-80 area.

onboard power & reset buttons, solid caps, socketed BIOS

Kinda Ironic! they bring out 2 boards for £80 that will most likely totally own there current flagship 680i mobo which cost £250 - sorry but i've got it in for Abit at the moment. lol.

More heatsinks then the Asus, will be interesting to see if it has less droop and clocks better too. Also an extra x1 pcie

Better support for quad core prehaps, it has input for 2 power cpu connectors and a molex for the graphics

you could say exactly the same of Asus though with the P5N-E SLI (not to mention P5N32-E Plus) & Striker & the Commando. ;)

Aye, to be honest I'm barking up the wrong tree, the main blame is with Nvidia for bringing out a chipset i.e 680i that is too bugged - revision h'mm lets wait & see. . . bad show Nvidia.

As for the actually mobo suppliers, well they still bring out these boards - surely they must know that their is big problems, dont they actually have QA testers testing these damn boards - really gets me annoyed as its us customers who pay scandulous prices like £252 for a board that doesnt work properly in my opinion it should have been doing 8x500 out of the box end of story - learnt my lesson, wont fall for it again! hype or no hype! :)

does it enable cl_b00m headshot in games?

If not, then its pointless. ;)

Strange fatelonety board,

doesn't come with a retarded external naff soundcard
doesn't have 40 thumb sized fans all over the board moving a total of 1cfm and making 60db in the process
doesn't have an idiotic layout
isn't bundled with piles of crap
could actually be cheap

i don't like asus due to their **** voltage droop, this could be a good looking and cheap performer :)

Also looking into getting one, but there's no reviews or anything out yet. :(

If this board can take a Tuniq which i can have facing towards the rear of my case (rumored P5N-E SLi problem), and the first BIOS revision isn't naff. Then it could be the board for me, would just like to hear more about it.

Yes i know the Abit board is, i'm talking about the Gigabyte 650 sli :D

I can get the Abit 650 mobo/Corsair 6500 memory/Corsair 620 psu/8800 gts/Core Duo E6600 for £20 less somewhere else.

Not bad value, comes with mofset and SB coolers, if it doesn't suffer the Vdroop of the P5N-E it'll be great.
I'm tempted to sell my P5N-E and E4300 right now and jam in one of these fancy PCB's and a E6400.

I will let you know what it's like mid to end of the week. Ordering one tomorrow with a 6400. I've had enough hassle with the P5N-E. First one came and was battered to bits by the courier and the second was DOA. Was going to use a 4300 but have decided against it. Also have some nice Geil Ultra PC2-6400 cl4.
