i shall update this page when there are detailed specs available.

minstadave, i have same ram as you, it will do 4-4-3-4 @ 469mhz with 2.15v. so lower you timings from 4-4-4-12 to 4-4-3-4.

I really can't see why abit, Asus, MSI etc. 650is are ~£70-80 & the Gigabyte is £30 more.

P.S. I can only see 2 fan headers - anyone spot a 3rd?

ive seen it for pre-order for £110, i guess we will see in a few days, think its out on monday, so there should be a few places with it on weds.

The Abit is between £74.99 and £87.99 depending on where you look but this Gigabyte is between £109 and £115. Can't see why though. MSI is bringing out a Platinum version of the P6N 650i which has far superior cooling than the other boards so that can be expected to come in at over £100 as well.

Listed on a couple of sites at just over £100 - still slightly cheaper than the Gigabyte.

Corrected for truth, surely. Also - do bear in mind that the 680i generic boards all have a heatpipe cooler across the board and none of them run cool without a fan on the Northbridge.

Given how hot the ASUS P5N-E SLi Northbridge gets with a heatsink twice that size, and based purely on the above photograph, I would have grave concerns about the ability of that board to take much additional voltage through the Northbridge.

so this hopefully be out next week? think i'll give it another week or 2 then before deciding on which board to get. All i want is minimal vdroop and atleast 420fsb x9. Heres hoping :p

What does this board offer than other competing boards, either on 680i or 965p, do not offer. It seems expensive and not so feature-rich.

I want to know what it offers that the abit, Asus 650i etc. at 2/3 the price don't :p

Do any of the 650i motherboards offer more than 4 SATA ports? I'm looking to use 2 SATA optical drives, and 3 SATA hard drives, so this knocks 'em all out for me, as far as I can see.

Yes, but usually the extra is setup as an eSATA on the back.
No problem with PATA devices if you wanted to use 1 PATA optical instead of a SATA though.
