Anyone seen the new Linkin Park video, they appear to have gone political :confused:

A total change of direction (not a bad thing) but not a direction I thought they would go.

The video features the collapse of the WTC, Hitler, Saddam....

Pretty dman horrendeous song TBH.

I never minded there old stuff, even when it became extremely main stream.

But this is just built around emo main stream pap, and really sounds dire

thats the real song, it was leaked yesterday at a very low quality. But that vid is fake. i hope so anyway.

the video is a bit meh. i dont care for vids anyway. good to see that mc i-cant-rhyme didnt get a verse in. christ his lyrics were always so badly written.

The album was 'Advanced' so it wasnt a retail.. so it could be completely different but yes i did >]

It definately still sounds like Linkin Park. Sounds like they re just using Strats now instead and have gone for less wall of guitar.

He's right, the only possible 'progression' could be the dropping of 'saturated' guitars. Other Linkin Park songs have had no rap in too.

I guess it will be interesting to see what the whole album is like, but the song structure method is exactly the same as their previous material.

Same parp as anything coming out these days. The emo little grebs will start listening to it, thus point proven.
It isnt directly emo, but you know they will all love it.

Hmmm I quite like that.

Sounds like its moving on from the stuff on meteora. Hopefully the rest of the album will be a tad heavier though (still prefer Hybrid theory over their later releases)
