Nice, will have to give this a go later when I get back from work! Voltage control is what I've needed.. Can push my card to 875/2060 but think I need more volts to go further.

tbh I cba to overclock my card, the only real gains you will see is with 3dmark, in game its debateable. Ill just be using this to tame the fan :D.

From how insanely hot these run at stock, I doubt I'd touch overclocking on one of them until an aftermarket cooler was fitted :)

They don't run insanely hot at all, this is another exaggeration that escalated, infact it runs cooler than my GTS!, you can get a very nice overclock out of the stock cooler as has been proven.

i had both and i can tell you that 2900 runs at least 10c more than the GTS.

and that was in the same case with same cooling

Mines running as hot as my GTS did atm it has ran cooler on colder days, I've had both and can confirm it, but even if its 10c hot thats not exactly insane heat increase. Let's not turn this thread into a whats hot and whats not thread. It's for purely discussing ATi Tool for the R600 :).
