In Ear Headphones

Sennheiser CX300's are pretty good value for money, they also dont sound too bad either. Edit: - Just beware of fakes being sold cheap on a popular auction site ;)

Shure E2's are around £45 but you may not like the fit, although in my opinion they sound much nicer.

Sennheiser CX300 are not nearlly as good as Sony EX90/85. The senn's are certanly a jump over the terrible sony EX71's but no match for their newer brothers.

yes but they are only £14 brand new :) :p

But the EX85's are £27 brand new - and a totally different level! The CX300's are just boomy bass that does not go very deep and harsh highs! And these are NOT fakes!

Best bang for buck is Creatives EP630's (said by many users and reviews to sound as good or better than some others that cost 2-3x as much), I own them and they are good, I also own the costly Creative Aurvana's and they are richer but IMO not as good bass but cost is not worth it

the best bang for buck are the ex85's in this price range. the only people who say the ep630's are better than earphones costing twice as much are the people who either a) only listened to crap expensive earphones b) dont know the prices of better earphones or c) dont know anythign at all and are trying to justify their purchaces.

There's no doubt about it, the ex85's are vasly better than the ep630's or the cx300's.

Thats your opinion fine, but since I do have a good ear (PIA but acute hearing) and do like music I dont use a Ipod as IMO they are crap, I use a ZVM and my Aurvana's, I doubt every review and every comment from customers on Amazon UK and USA is canceled out by your own views, the OP asked a question, I gave a answer, so can you but slating others answers does not really help the OP.

Cant really complain about EP630's as they cost £12-20 online and how long have they sony's actually be available, also apart 70's/80's I would never buy Sony brand.

have you heard a pair of ex85/90's?

im not slating your opinion thank you, but you can hardly say they are the best if you havent heard a better pair of earphones in the same price range. can we agree on that?

i will say one thing, from what my friends have told me (and olnine review) the aurvana's are crap especially at their asking price.

I cant hear every set of phones in the market as of time and money, I had to do lot of reading and make a choice, I got the cheap 630's as a fill gap as a loss of £12-20 is nothing and then I looked at more expensive ones, have you heard Aurvana's or Marshmallows models or Shures models?.

At end of the day, I gave the OP a answer, I aint going to reply to your opinons any more, infact if someone love music so much and are a true Audiophile they would not listen to compressed music on any DAP never mind a Ipod which is nowhere near as good as Creatives or Cottons etc.

I have already stated the Aurvana's are not worth the cost, big deal some in here say a 8800Ultra aint worth the cost or Raptor's.

why are you getting your back up so much? as far as im concerned, the ep630's are good for the money but they are average at best. the ex85's are much better. again they are budget earphones but still...£25 is less than what the original ex71's retailed at. they are a massive improvement on them too. i have no idea why your in such bad mod over this lol.

lol yeah. i dont know what they would do if they wanted to listen to some music on the move. strap a pair of studio monitors to their face and power it with a mark levison amp dragging behind them in a wheel barrow? actually scratch that, the vibrations from the 'barrow would do nothing for the sound :o jokes aside, even the odd audiophile will have an mp3 player. some of them will go as far as using a seperate battery powered amplifier to drive their modified earphones/headphones. very few of them would recommend the ep630's for anything in light of what else is available for similar money:)

dont get so angry :o

Shure E2C :)

Are rubbish too!

As James.miller also says - the EX85's are fab - esp modded! My EX95 (basicly same phone) once modded with a few layers of clingfilm over the 3 vents at back (you cant see mod when in your ears) sound nearly as good as my $300 Westone UM2's. The Westones only are a bit drier, clearer and extend more.

You have already said your bit above, why come back and say another peeps input is rubbish, you are as bad as the abuser above, I left it open so he would come back with something dumb like even Audiophiles need portable music sometimes as I knew he would say something, you two are not helping anyone esp the OP, you obv are Sony fanboys anyhow.

I personally think Sony are total crap since they were a good brand in the 70's/80's but I dont come here and slate your post, I simply left my comment.

Helmutcheese stop having orgasams about it and calm down. You are dangour of becoming a fan boy. As your mind is so closed to anything sony! Sony still make some top notce stuff. They have made duds too - like most companys. Sure I said the e2c's are rubbish because they are - they are hyped on this forum - one person gets them and says they are good and the rest parrot! They dont have great bass and treble is very recessed. Shure E4c E5c and E500 are great tho.

Look lamer, dont make me out the bad one, Im the new guy here, I did as others did and left a comment, no way was I saying 1 certain make is amazing so drop the fanbay crap, you two dont seem to be able to grasp this is not your thread to debate what is best, the OP asked for comments, now you simply tell him in your opinion what is best and thats it unless he comes back with questions like are they light and comfortable, do they have good bass etc, you dont pick through othere peeps input and talk crap about it or them.

I see users like you every day, you cause a bit of stick then try to make out your innocent and blame others, abuser/troll or lamer comes to mind.

To the OP, I would advise you fo to some forums dedicated to audio/vidio like AV Forums or even a DAP forum like I do but its for Creative's.
