Don't think my result isn't too bad. 8800GT driver has just been released so it's score bring it down. Rest of my scores are better other than the disk. I'll have to check it out.

Definitely interesting to see comparison though!

I was only teasing mate.. It was more of a "It looks like OSx86 isn't as fast as the native hardware" post... still good though :)

hmmm, i got a measly 64.84

http://db.xbench.com/merge.xhtml?doc1=265382

weird cuz it all seems to run good... photoshop/illustrator silky smooth and plays stuff like return to castle wolfenstein with all settings on full etc so dont think somethings wrong...

the place where i'm way off the mark is the openGL test...

i'll have a play later to see if theres some power saving or something holding it back... if anyone has any insight let me know :)

EDIT: maybe its something to do with this...

http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=181325

but i can't really be arsed to install a new app just to change a minor parameter that makes a big difference to XBench... end of the day everything works great so i aint gonna start messing to hunt for a higher xbench score... although its strange that you are all getting what would be expected... i got nearly 3k on geekbench so i reckon i'm fine...

Screenshot Er, pass. I'm only just over a mac month old.

However, I did the test 4 times
1) No Restart, Main HDD 153.16
2) No Restart, WD Passport drive 123.03
3) No Restart, Ext HDD in Caddy 136.51
4) Fresh Restart, Main HDD 125.35

How come after a restart I get a lower score?
