So, that tells us two things then?

1) MBA will ship with 10.5.2?
2) Everyone else will be getting remote disk?

Or did I miss something in my half awake state?

1) Yes
2) Yes, it should allow any Mac to share it's CD/DVD drive via Remote Disk

Well, lets hope in that load of babble the 2 fixes are done:

• Random kernal panics, which have only happened twice on the same day (weird!)
• Wireless dropped out totally once warranting a restart, also sometimes totally forgets my hidden Network is there, WTF!?

Thats all I want. Otherwise spot on.

UPDATE; The latest build (9C20) is due out Friday 25th January.

No known issues listed for this build

Is it wrong to be excited about updates??...... What have I become, it all started with my iMac arriving after leopard was released. Now I am an apple fanboy... HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That said my 5th gen video ipod has just died, so my fan status is wavering.

Did it have any remaining warranty?

Seed 9C23 is now out, expect this very soon.

UPDATE: You can't watch or burn CD/DVDs via remote disc.

D'oh.... that is surely a silly lack of feature. That feature alone would probably account for more mac mini and iMac sales to go along with people buying airs and loaded. Admitidly that is probably a small catchment of new users, but still!

(iPod has started working again and syncing again :D)
