Basically as the title states, what server type will you be on this saturday. (Can a don add a poll to this thread with the below options...thanks :))

Aye i would rather play on a PvP server but want to be able to chat while playing rather than joining a PvP server and finding no-one from the boards.

i will go with whatever goes though.
 
Id like to try a PvP server but i just can see it getting annoying when trying to kill quest mobs at the same time as others and end up in deathmatch. So i will probably vote PvE but wil go with the flow.
 
After playing general beta I have real reservations that it's not really balanced for FFA pvp, bigger groups and sieges yes but small 1v1 or 2v2 style is not going to be great.

So because of that I'd go PvE first choice. Of course I'm an ex-eve player so more than happy with PvP :)
 
The reason I hate other MMos besides EVE, is that you have lot of servers.

EVE 1 server, you can RP, PVE & PVP.

Why do they have lots of different servers cant they run on one, that way you make a bigger better game and bigger comunities (guilds).
 
I've added a poll on server type. I think once people have decided what type they're going that someone then just picks a realm for the group at random.

Personally I'm going PvE regardless.

Well they have to have the PvE servers and PvP servers seperate because they use two different rulesets, on the PvP servers you can kill pretty much anyone, pretty much anywhere, at anytime. On the PvE servers you cant be attacked unless you want to.

There isnt really anyway to have those 2 rulesets working together on one server, either you can attack anyone , anywhere, anytime, or you cant.

I agree on the RP aspect though, its an MMO*RP*G , so really ALL servers should be RP
 
I'd much rather PvE, im not into PvP at all, and when, in WoW, someone starts attacking me i usually just stand there and wait to die lol

Can't wait to get into this game
 
i think people are being swayed more by pve due to the increased safety when just grinding, whilst still having pvp in areas, allowing more consent. lets face it, not everyone likes being ganked and corpse camped whilst trying to do a quest

I always go PvP but I have to agree with Vtec9k.

Think i'm going to pop my PvE cherry.
