Hi. We always have people asking for builds for these price points, so i am going to try and do one every month, and keep it up to date:

IMO there's such a massive difference between the £300 and £500. Definately should spend the extra to get the £500 build.

and icey, i agree, for £500, one can get a brilliant build nowadays.

£300 is really downloading, or websurfiing, odd movies, word proccessing.

Great Idea but a couple of things?

The Sony and Samsung drives are same price so why list one on the £300 kit and the other on the £500 kit? Or are they both the same performance wise?

I noticed you cheated (slightly) on the higher value kits by going over £4 and £9?

And lastly as an option on the £500 build if you needed/used all 4 cores and didn't need wifi, you could take the Gigabyte mobo from the £300 build and drop a q6600 oem in for only £3.52 more

Great idea !

Maybe put something like best value for money parts. Like spending extra £50 gets twice the performance ?
