Thanks HC for the heads up.

Can some one confirm that in Vista64 if I turn off indexing service
Via the c:/properties the manage 3D settings dont show what apps/games
you have installed and also you cant add a app or program.

But if you turn it back on all is ok.

This is whats going on with me(and its driving me nuts)

Deusa, I recently disabled the indexing service on my hard drive and have the same problem as you. I wonder if there's a way round it :confused:

I am going to try these new ones see if fixs it.

EDIT= Just installed the 178.15 drivers and still the same Grrrr

leave in on then, and manage which folders it scans

once it's scanned them, it's done

Thanks but I tried that.
I installed acrobat reader and it did not show up so I set the folder
to be scanned and it still did not show up.
So I had to turn it back on.

So looks like NV are writing over microsoft files again :mad:

Tried rebuilding the index? When desktop search 4.0 was released, it said in the details you may need to rebuild your index. That could be the problem.
