Can some one confirm that in Vista64 if I turn off indexing service
Via the c:/properties the manage 3D settings dont show what apps/games
you have installed and also you cant add a app or program.

But if you turn it back on all is ok.

This is whats going on with me(and its driving me nuts)

Deusa, I recently disabled the indexing service on my hard drive and have the same problem as you. I wonder if there's a way round it

EDIT= Just installed the 178.15 drivers and still the same Grrrr

leave in on then, and manage which folders it scans

once it's scanned them, it's done

Thanks but I tried that.
I installed acrobat reader and it did not show up so I set the folder
to be scanned and it still did not show up.
So I had to turn it back on.

So looks like NV are writing over microsoft files again

Tried rebuilding the index? When desktop search 4.0 was released, it said in the details you may need to rebuild your index. That could be the problem.

any xp x64 links like butt?
