Cheers for that info m8.

Any difference, performance wise with your setup after you have installed the patch?.

To be honest, I've got my install of the game running sweet as a nut just now and I'm just about to enter Limansk.

Don't want to install this latest patch and *break* anything at this late point. :D

How much game is there to explore once the main quest is over? Anyone? Just wondered whether I'd be better off finishing the game then using that mod that allows you to return to the rest of the map or to just leave the main story and explore a bit. TIA

Still waiting for definitive confirmation that this game has been fixed before buying it. I’ll consider it once I have finished Shadow of Chernobyl. At least they’re still patching it

I found very little bugs running the game on the 1.05.04 patch, the only time I got a bug was when travelling from the forest to the garbage but I fixed that by taking the long way round to a different exit.

No difference here,

Game is still very slow :( maybe im expecting too much from my hardware.

q6600 @ 3.96ghz
4870x2
8gb ram

i am running it at 2560x1600 though, but even with the visual on medium its stuttering all over the place with poor frame rates.

That the 8.10 hotfix drivers aswell, the second set :(

Really is poor.

The original Stalker runs perfectly. Also i play the likes of crysis war, with no issues.

Remember that Clear Sky uses an enhanced version of the XRAY engine, so although the original performed perfectly, it's possible that you may need to reduce the screen resolution or some other settings.

Although to be honest, I'm a bit surprised that your having problems on a spec like that. I'm not so bothered about performance, I don't mind reducing the settings if needed as my graphics card is getting on a bit, I do however want to be able to play the game without getting annoyed with various glitches. Some have more than others, I know, so maybe I should just give it a go and see what happens!

No performance improvements?

Very poor show especially when you consider there have been better looking games out the past week that perform 3 times better.

Russian version got revoked due to some issues, currently going back through testing, so could mean its buggered, once its gone throught testing again it will appear on the Official site for download so id hold off for now.
