Looks promising for SSD technology. Should push the prices of the smaller SSD's down towards end of the year.

Shame i doubt ill be able to afford the TB drive on release.

it says they plan to release that SSD q3 of 2009 with a range of others inbetween like 512gb 256gb. The older SSD's have already been dropping in price when the newer releases come out as they seem to be making a lot of progress with speed.

I'm hoping to upgrade to SSD in Q3 this year, I just hope the prices keep dropping.

Great news.. was going to go SSD in the next few months so might try and get one of the 240GB for my laptop when available.

there not going to be a threat to HDD until we see some serious price drops, but the more we buy the cheaper it gets.
