Graphics Card Temps

Hi all

for all the air cooled systems, what graphics car temps at idle do you get?

I get 51 C (using speed fan) which i thought was rather high, its a inno 3D 8800GT O/C

Sounds about right, my 8800 GTX idle'd aroud the 66c - 75c mark.

My GTX280 idles at 35c using Rivatuner fan profiles & 4 case fans, the temperature of the room your PC is in makes a huge difference

My gtx 280 idles at 36c, fan manually set to 55%.

GPU in sig, idles around 46C

1st 9800GTX+ with the good heatsink idles at 50, load on 65.
2nd 9800GTX+ with the stupid heatsink idles at 46, load 72.

So I'd say your temps are ok.

It also depends on how good the airflow is in your case.

4870 X2 about 85 -90 idle

My 4850 is about 50 on idle, reaches no more than 64 on gaming.

4870 1GB - 70-74C idle, 80-81C load

Despite the ridiculously high idle temps, I've never seen it go above 81C load, and have had the G15 Rivatuner plugin monitoring temps in most games.

I use gainwards experttool to manually set the fan, quite a handy and simple wee app for overclocking as well.

XFX 4870 here, idles at around 45c, around 70c under load for over an hour, auto set the fan to a constant 30%, the XFX fan is amazingly good if you crank it up, but the noise is unbelievable.

on air though 80-100, scary temps
