Hi folks.

I am just about to commit to buying 2 Danbo's, i only want one, but thought id get two in case someone else wanted one on here.

The price is hefty though $140 for 2 Danbo's (includes tracked delivery) at current exchange rate thats £95.50.

So if anyone wants to go halfs (first come first serve) let me know below.

These are unbranded full size Danbo's like greywolfs from these very forums.

I will deliver the Danbo on to you recorded delivery.
 
Mods please feel free to delete any non relivent posts, there was a long thread a while back with a lot of peeps interested in a Danbo group buy, this thread is aimed at them.

I was game for the original deal, just cos it sounded like fun. But £45 is too much like "real money" for me.

If you were to do a bunch, would the price per unit tumble?

^^ Im just asking that question now, seems these little buggers are rarer than rocking horse doo, hence the price.

It is way to much i know, i just wondered if anyone else was as mad as me. Im still debating about commiting to buy.

How big are these full size ones?
I saw some listed on ebay but they said 'mini' I assume those are different?

The full sized one is around 6 inches tall. The mini is about half the size. The full sized original ones are definitely getting rarer and more expensive, im tempted to get a second one before they get impossible to buy.
 
If this had come up yesterday, before i'd just spent this months wages, I would have done it.
If you can hold out until next month, I will do it.

I wasn't pee'ing over your thread if thats the idea you got. I know what the threads relation was. I was just making my point out loud that its very expensive as originally they were suppose to be just over £20.
Knowing that I was bloody shocked so I posted my opinion.

$198 HK, about £17 ?

I was there last month, they also had a FULL size plain one and a full size 7-11 one...not for sale though.
 
^^ looks like they are going to be just under £40 each. Im going to order them, i will then put one up for sale here or on the bay, when and if they arrive.

I think the beauty of this particular model is the fact that the face of the thing is so expressionless and innocent. It forces you to wonder what the thing is thinking and how it is interpreting its surroundings, which given the proper pose and context can give some very interesting photo opportunities, e.g. looking back at the box it arrived in. I think that is the appeal of the thing although I myself wouldn't invest in one as its not really my style.
