Mixed opions really after having bought this game without waiting for the demo. I think if I had of waited I would have saved my money TBH.

You need a uber rigg if you want to run it with the settings up high, I get around 25/30FPS (All very high, 1680*1050) i7 920 4.0GHZ, GTX295 @ 660/1200/1400, 6GB @ 1603MHZ.

Its a massive improvement over ARMA, but I have the feeling Operation Flashpoint 2 will blow this out the water.

Will check this out later today. Downloaded the first game's demo and apart from having to lower AA it ran well all maxed out. Though by all accounts it looks like this one will bring most PC's to their knees.

Holy $%^&!! I got no chance of running it at 2560 then, lol :D

Theres no way of telling really until you try it. He may have a ridiculous fillrate or view distance set too. He may be using Vista x64 which evaporates 30% of your framerate instantly.

ARMA 2 has some nuances to its performance. Im playing at 1680x1050 on an E6550, 2Gb, 320Mb 8800GTS, all set to normal, 100% fillrate, default draw distance.

Still looks great and performance is fine.
