Greenfly/Aphids

I've got some Chili plants growing around the house and they keep getting infected with little green monsters, and tips on eradicating them? I've tried sprays, they work for a few days then they come back.

The spray I have says to only use 3 times

mix some washing up liquid with warm water in a spray bottle.

It washes off the waxy oil they use to keep in moisture.

They turn into hard little green balls in a few hours, it's incredibly satisfying.

But do you really want washing up liquid all over your chillis?

You only need a very tiny amount to do the job. You can wash it off after too if you want.

And obviously you wash them before consumption.

I tried dilute washing up liquid, didn't seem to hurt them at all.
