I think its time we have a list of game recommendations from members on here since threads like this pop up every other day.

If everyone could recommend a game, I'll note it down here and tally it up. The most recommended game being at the top.

You can only recommend games you have played for a considerable amount of time and have a good understanding of.

You can recommend as much games as you like as long as you have played a fair bit of that game and not just 10 - 20 minutes of it. Will help making the list of more quality.

Mutli-platform games will just be added to all the systems its on.

Ahh ok that makes sense. I assumed you would only put up a tally for the platform it was recommended on, so if only people recommended the PS3 version of dead space it wouldn't be listed in the 360 list for example which is obviously a little silly.

Looks fantastic with the black theme

PS3: SF4, GTA4, Burnout Paradise, MGS4, LBP, Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection Online, inFamous, Resistance 2, Super Stardust HD, Uncharted, PixelJunk Monsters.

360: Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Gears 1, Fable 2, Crackdown.

Most played games in terms of hours, off the top of my head. Haven't owned/bought the handhelds for a long while and don't own a Wii.

What about just exclusives under the console titles and then a seperate multiplatform section as some people with only 1 console may not go for a certain title if it's only recommended on the one platform.

I'd advise against that, some games are substantially different. For example exclusive DLC or performance issues (The Darkness springs to mind here) If you keep them separate then you can see how each console owner rates the game.

Apart from the Darkness and Orange Box, neither of which are likely to be near the top of the list, can you think of any others that have major performance issues on PS3 and not on 360?

Apart from GTA4 I cannot think of any games that have dramatically different DLC either? Can you?

Got a couple that I would recommend for anyone with a 360

1. Call Of Duty 4 - Simply great for multiplayer fun

2. Fallout 3 - Hours of great game play, with some excellent downloadable content available

3. Bioshock - Another great single player game, almost like watching a film, I was not allowed to play this unless the Mrs was there as she wanted to watch me play through the whole of it.

4. The Darkness - Great single player, with a brilliant story line.

360,

Which ones? The few bad ports way back in 06 aren't going to matter that much to people especially if they only have one platform. The Darkness was bad but it was still easily playable. DLC such as GTA should be listed on it's own and that's the only major DLC that isn't multiplat I can think of.

Well Batman has exclusive DLC on PS3 and I think Mirror's edge has an exclusive map or something? There may be more in the future though, who knows. The bad ports are still bad ports though, doesn't matter how much time passes if we're talking recommendations then I wouldn't recommend The Darkness to a PS3 owner but I would to a 360 owner. I'm not trying to get in to a platform argument here I think I should make that clear.
