A thread devoted to Mobile Phone customisations. Post your Home Screens, custom icons, wallpapers etc.

Thanks to a kindly OcUK forumite i now have the wallpaper that i wanted.

Here's mine on my HTC Magic. I do have 4 other screens but they are uncluttered with a couple of widgets.

I'm running CyanogenMod 4.2.1

Nice phone. I was tempted to go for a HTC thread, especially with the awesome HD2 coming out now, but thought it better to open this up to everybody.

For those using winmo based phones here is a link to a great little app for making screenies called 'Shake And Save'. Courtesy of those clever chaps over at xda.

Mine pretty plain atm - stripped it down to fairly basic windows mobile.

Plan on some nicer icons, a weather gadget and removing the bottom bar when I get around to it.

What phone is that Rroff? If you're looking for something fairly lightweight to customise it Pointui is pretty nifty. It has a free version and a good community behind it developing apps and themes.

I used to run it on my Omnia with a full screen weather applet which looked real pretty. (Never been a big fan of Samsung software so covered it up as much as possible).

This is kinda cool and with the stylus completely useable... its just about useable on GPRS with a bit of tweaking and a good signal and very useable on 3G+.

This is on a HTC TD2 with Duttys R0 'Holy Grail' ROM. Custom taskbar icons and a few other modifications.

You need to post your experiences of your HD2 in the other thread when you've got 5 mins mate.

Would be massively appreciated.

I'd massively appreciate owning a HD2 but alas i have a TD2

Rroff, i'd love to know about remote desktop. Was the software something that came with the phone or a 3rd party app? Was it difficult to set up?

Nothing special, Can't do much with the N97 yet. Had to change the product code to upgrade to the latest firmware and changed the font and thats it. And yes, I quite like having a crowded homescreen, I like to unlock my phone and know everything or be able to access all my popular apps with one look or press.

Sorry to disappoint. The HD2 is looking awesome for hardware spec but i hate the Sense 2.5 look. The extra icons and curtains on the homescreen make it look too busy for me. I was running a 2.5 ROM on my TD2 for a while but went back to the Sense 2.1 that i'm running now. Much prefer the look.

Nice to see Symbian based phones are becoming more customisable. The last Nokia i owned was an E60 with options to change the wallpaper and nothing else

Still the toughest phone i ever owned though, withstanding huge amounts of abuse.

I found the cab files for it floating around on the xda forums I think - its easy enough to get going but I noticed it tends to crash on exiting/or stay running in the background which is a bit annoying... don't think its doing anything sinister tho.

Goes left to right with the weather widget being my middle homescreen. I don't need all seven so just use these five.

Nice Wallpaper! I like simplicity.

I had an opportunity to play with a Hero recently and although it is a nice phone i think it'd drive me insane trying to customise so many screens! There are so many options available that i'd obsess over trying to get it perfect.

I only use 3 screens out of however many there are on my Hero. I can't take a screenshot though as you need to root and I have Orange ROM and I can't be bothered to change to a better one.

Got a Storm2 so i havent had a chance to get any fancy themes or wallpapers for it...seeing as its a brand new device and the themes are taking their time getting out on the market mainly due to the fact that the theme building software isnt really compatible with OS5.

But heres my screen on my Storm2...really like the wallpaper...it comes within the phone in the sample pictures.
