Intel SSD toolbox - Error connecting to drive

I have 4 HDs connected, 3 SATA, 1 IDE. The Intel toolbox is fine with the IDE drive but with all 3 SATA HDs I get "Error connecting to drive", that includes my 80GB SSD.
This is a fresh install of W7 home premium, still with the 100MB system partition that it insisted upon during installation.

from the command prompt I did:
fsutil behavior query disabledeletenotify

DisableDeleteNotify = 1 (Windows TRIM commands are disabled)
DisableDeleteNotify = 0 (Windows TRIM commands are enabled)

result was 0, so at least TRIM should be working.

I obviously have something set wrong......

Aaargh, nforce sata driver...... solved. Now, what does this tool actually do....

TRIM should be black, to say its enabled where it says supported features. Thats all I used it for
