The Overclockers UK Reviewer Competition – Sponsored by Sapphire

Over the next month we are offering you the chance to become an Official Overclockers UK Forum Reviewer and win one of many Sapphire 5 series DirectX 11 Radeon graphics cards in the process.

1st Prize - Sapphire Radeon HD 5970 Graphics Card
2nd Prize - Sapphire Radeon HD 5870 Graphics Card
3rd Prize - Sapphire Radeon HD 5850 Graphics Card

Runners Up - Several Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 Graphics Cards

Overclockers UK will be launching a new, improved, dedicated review section on the forum. On a weekly basis, the selected Overclockers reviewers will be offered hardware to review and keep completely free of charge.

Everyone has their favourite piece of kit so to enter all you have to do is review it! It could be anything from a component, monitor, printer or router. We don’t really mind as long as it’s something fairly new and interesting! We have put together an easy to follow reviewer’s guide so we are able to keep consistency between entries and judge them easily.

So here’s what you have to do:

  1. Be a forum member and link your username to your Overclockers UK online store account (see "Registration" and "How To" information below)
  2. Find some new/interesting hardware you’d like to review
  3. Download the reviewer’s guide
  4. Write your review
  5. Put together a set of 10 interview questions to ask Adrian Thompson, Worldwide Marketing Director for Sapphire
  6. Submit your review and questions to [email protected] by 12.00pm 14th March 2010 (do not post them on the forum, but feel free to discuss what you have decided to review)
On March 21st, 2010, the best entries will be announced. The entries will be judged by James Napier, Editor of Overclock3D.net and the Directors of Overclockers UK. Winners will be sent a Sapphire graphics card and a review contract.

Good luck!

meh, this comp doesnt suit my low knowledge of stuff :(
cant we have a 'guess the number of sweets in teh jar' type comp for us thickys?

I've always wondered why you guys haven't set up your own review site or something similar. I know there is the review section but it doesn't seem to get updated that often, rjkoneill is always tinkering away with new CPUs and motherboards.

It was mentioned a few weeks back that a review section would be good. I was all for it, and so I'll be submitting an entry if my new hardware arrives in time.

Great prizes.

Just as a quick question, how many items would your contract expect you to review in a fixed period, would it be you as a one man reviewer or would there be a team so the work load could be spread around to account for employment and home lives?

No, subject to compliance with employment or any other relevant laws.

So let me get this straight, If i told you I was 14 It'd be completely fine for me to enter this?
This is practically a dream job for me, I think it would be wrong for me not to enter!
:D:D:D
