WD RE drives are supposed to be enterprise class (24/7) so why only a 1 year warrenty? Are they B grade?

Also what does 'clean pull' mean?

sorry to ask this, does this single HDD 1TB (2 x 500gb) will work in Raid0 or must have 2 x Hdd's ?

It's not a single disk.

You get 2 X 500GB disks which can be used in RAID0 to give you 1TB and RAID1 to give you 500GB.

These are 2 drives that together raid to make a lovely 1TB drive from the 2 drives sold

Shouldn't do too much. Enterprise class drives are usually faster and more reliable than their mainstream counterparts of similar spec.

I think he was talking about Raid 1. These are 2 x 500gb drives which can be used as a 500gb RAID 1 mirror array (2 x 500gb) or a 1TB (2 x 500gb) RAID 0 striped array.

I bought one this morning. I wanted to buy two for raid but because of the limit of one per person I couldn't.
If I had known this offer was going to appear in the afternoon, I would have waited.

I phoned OCUK to see what they could do. They said that I could only purchase a RAID Pack....
Why can't I purchase a single drive?
They said: You can buy the RAID pack and return the other drive...... makes no sense....
What difference does it make? I'm happy to pay for the postage.

As much as I love OCUK, I'm not happy. Can anything be done??

This bundle works out at £2 more than buying one of the drives of offer this morning and paying postage twice and even more than £2 if you do not get free postage so you still got a good deal this morning.
