This thread is solely for the purpose for letting off steam about things in everyday life that annoy you endlessly. Post your rants/agreement with rants etc etc here.

Ill start the ball rolling.

You know what really grinds my gears? Sky deciding that channels would be better off if they changed the channel number. For example woke up this morning, put the TV on to watch a bit of Comedy Central while eating my breakfast, type in "126" up pops MTV :mad: Comedy Central has moved to 112, which is going to take weeks for me to get used to. Thing is Comedy Central +1 and Comedy Central Extra are still on channels 127 and 128.

LEAVE THEM ALONE SKY!!!!!!!!!
 
A similar gear grinding moment from me. What's happened to Channel One? Just turned on TVCatchup and it's disappeared. No more X Files, no more Star Trek: TNG... :(
 
People swearing when I'm on a Management call.

I'm re-implementing the swear box.
 
  • Double standards.
  • People signing their username at the bottom of their post, I mean, if you are going to sign anything at least make it your real name.
  • Stupid people.

/edit I'm sure there was another thread like this, I had a list of about 50 things but I can't find it :(

January gym rush. It's sickening, fat buggers hogging the car park and equipment, then February/March comes and they're off!

People who don't give thank you gestures in cars, despite stopping and giving way, causing yourself inconvenience.
 
You know what really grinds my gears... is when I can't find the droids I'm looking for!


edit: Also Lemmings what with their crazy green hair, red eyes, sharp teeth and their insistance that I die!

Having to attend meetings straight after lunch in a room clearly too small for accomodate the number of attendees, thus air-con not cooling the room sufficiently and us all begging for match sticks to keep our eyes open.
 
People standing in front of the doors on the metro/tube, so I have to barge through them to get off. Also people who push in front of you to get off first only to walk slowly and hold you up.

People walking in front of you then stopping with no reason or just standing in the way in general. People who walk straight out of a shop without looking and causing other people to take action to avoid walking into them.

All of that just boils down to selfishness and not considering other people around them.
 
People not taking note of the hundreds of adverts on Sky notifying about the change in channels & introducing Sky Atlantic from the 1st Feb...then complaining about it

...oh wait!
 
Improper use of capital letters in thread titles.

Using asterisk in thread titles. It doesn't make your thread "official" or any different from anything else in here.

1. Dawdling on the pavement.

2. Women getting to the checkout after having had all their shopping scanned and to be asked to pay, then only then realise that they have no idea where their purse is.

3. Mini drivers.

I knew Sky Atlantic was appearing on channel 108, formerly Sky 3. No need for any of the other channels to have to move too.

And having Sky+ i record most of the shows i watch, thus skipping through all the adverts for Go Compare, Webuyanycar, Directline and The National Accident Helpline.

Infact people who dont do this annoy me.
