fractal r3 - this doesnt look right...

Comparing it to this pic, I think you should return it, but wait for someone with an R3 to comment first id say.

Every day a new dodgy Fractal case...

Their quality control must consist of a bunch of lobotomised monkeys.

has the front come unclipped, or if it is a new case check for damaged clips, the fronts do just pop off and it could just need a push back in.

no it doesnt - I thought this* was a feature, but looking closer it just looks as though it has been abused by the courier.

that edge should be straight at the ends (where the thumb screws go) according to this:

I thought it was 'normal' becaues it is the same on all for thumb screw positions (it's the same on the other panel as well).

Someone has dropped it, and the thumb screws have been pushed into the case - the case is actually bent at the back as well.

yep, gotta be sent back - and now I dont have a case to put everything back in because I just made wifey a new build in my old case. :o

just run a open rig for now :) but im sure you will be happy with the case when its replaced really like my white one.

it's the bad packaging - there is NO foam protection around the rear thumb screws. They sliced it off because the screws stick out a bit more than the case

So it doesnt take much force to start putting pressure on the screws, which are positioned at the base of the box iirc...

I shall be inspecting the box very carefully upon the replacement's arrival.

you getting another fractal case? nooooooooooooooo! i honestly though they where good cases but every day on other forums is a new problem with them. Your replacement has a chance to be just as bad or worse.

This must be the 6th or 7th Fractal case damaged in transit I've heard about, and I don't actively seek these cases out. Clearly they have a serious packaging issue to sort out. I wonder if fractal or the retailers are claiming anything back from the couriers.
