It's a different board.

Ah yea, i missed the fact its supports 3 gpus that and a few other features over the extreme4

yeah can't wait i got 3 6950's on the 1st release of the extreme 4 but then realised you can't use triple cards also the extreme 7 looks to be the only board you can have 3 gpu's and a large pcie sound card as the other boards ie gigabyte ud7 and asus that have the nf200 don't have the best layout you can only fit a short sound card on the top pcie slot on the gigabyte and none on the asus. :-)

Although it was supposed to be in a couple of weeks ago, there are now signs of this board appearing for sale in other countries so I reckon it is actually due within the next few days. I do hope so as I've got a complete system now apart from board, memory and graphics card upgrade. I just hope we are rewarded for our wait with a fantastic price!!!

Same as the Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 not the Z68 Extreme7 Gen3

The MSI can run 3-way SLI/Crossfire at x8/x8/x8. The Extreme4 cannot.
