ITV claims game footage as 'real life recording' (IRA program from the other night)

Did anyone see this program from the other night about the IRA?
Theres a scene where a helicopter gets taken down that they claimed to be IRA amateur footage but its in fact footage from ARMA II.

The other half thought i was mad when i started laughing like mad during an IRA documentary lol

Even less so when you recognise the cutscene instantly!

I guess people who don't know probably just thought it was recorded on some dodgy camera with massive over-saturation applied or something. The fact it was broadcast in SD, and this 'clip' rendered at even lower resolution helped too.

I watched the original, trust me ITV used that footage.

Or if they didn't, then they used actor's to re-create it pretty much exactly as it is in game.

As for the original, its still on "coming soon" for ITV player.
Although people are saying it was on ITV player until 4pm today.. so guess they realised their mistake
