So, last weekend I did my last Wedding for the year...and as it happened I took my best shot (in my opinion) of the year (and if not of all time)

Here it is...

So...lets see it, post your favourite photo of the year, and why :)

I'll pick one after I finish this last wedding I am in the middle of....saving this space for later.

But it is HARD to pick one!!!!!!!!! Really hard, it would be easier to pick top 5? Or 10? Lol

EDIT - This one

As much as I want to pick a wedding one photo, I would never print them and display them.

I will however print and frame this, thus my pick of 2011.

Has to be this one for me, had it blown up on canvas :D looks amazing.

Took it whilst at my hotel on long island looking across NYC.

Tbh it was difficult to pick a favourite, below is one of them, I just like the connection/warmth, the very abstract heart shape as well as being a flare fan.

Some lovely shots in here :)

I can't really pick a favourite photo of the year, but the new thing I tried out this year was going to a hill climb local to me. It was great fun and something I really enjoyed so I guess I could pick a shot from one of those events. I have shots of my daughter that I like more, and also a nice shot of my best friends wife with her baby son, but I understand that kiddie photos aren't everyone's cup of tea! Not that motor sport is either though I suppose!

Hard to choose.

I like this one as it was when i was really getting to grips with shooting on my Mamiya C330s. Shame about the horrible Fuji PROs 400 film i was shooting on. I liked the eye contact with the Pigeon and the starling looking at the older lady eating while reading. Just a scene that is very hard to stage and a total random moment in time. From a purely technical point of view you could say the negative space from the bin is off-putting but i feel it actually adds to the voyeuristic nature of the image.
